How do you get your name registered?
It all depends on how you want to use your trademark.
In many cases, you can register your name with a trademark agency, which is a small company that will help you obtain the proper documents.
For example, if you want your company to advertise on television or to market your products, you need to obtain a trademark registration.
However, if your business is only selling goods, you may be able to register by filing a petition for a trademark that describes what you’re selling.
If your business sells products, the trademark registration is usually easier.
If you sell goods to consumers, you must register by submitting your name and address to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
To register your company name, you have to submit the following documents: a valid U.S. trademark registration form (for example, a U.K. or European trademark registration application) that shows you own your name, your place of business, and that your company is an entity authorized by the USPTO to register a trademark in the United States.
